Communication over distance is now easy - but essentially there's no difference in concept between Morse Code and sending binary bits and bytes down a fibre optic cable.

While many people are extremely worried about privacy - they continue to share a large portion of their lives online.

Inspired by Jens Wunderling's Default to Public and a fantastic kids book "How to be a spy" I wanted to hack the privacy message in a playful way. And using Twitter to send 'encoded' messages seemed ridiculous enough to make me build MorseTweet.

Using technology in a way it was not meant for is a common theme in my work - and with the limits of encoding morsecode in Twitter taking up more than half of its character limit, Morsetweet felt like it needed to be made.
