We included quite a bit of data collection, to profile people and to use as statistics in the post-event site. This page was made deliberately distracting, as there was quite a lot of server stuff going on. Previous sites had brought down the server with the pure intensity of the traffic, and we were quite chuffed that here we were able to balance it out, even through traffic was larger than on any other time.
